Welcome to the WinifredJ website, this website is wholly owned by WinifredJ. Use of this website is governed by the terms and conditions set out below. ‘Customer’ is the person referred to as the buyer who is purchasing the goods. 

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. By ordering any product from us you are accepting these Terms and Conditions. 

Orders & Pricing

Each piece is handmade by us once it has been ordered and paid for in full by the customer. Please allow 21 days for the making and sending of your item once purchased. This can differ depending on order demand at the time and which country you are ordering from.

All orders are subject to our approval and product availability.
The prices of products are correct at the time of publication on our website.
We reserve the right to change prices on our website without prior notification. 

All goods are priced in GBP, and all other currencies are calculated automatically from this and hence should be regarded as a guide only.

Stock Availability

It is possible we will on occasion be unable to fulfil your order immediately. If this is the case we will inform you immediately with details of any delays or issues there may be.

Order Acknowledgement

When you have submitted an order you will be sent an e-mail confirming your order as well as a further email notifying the dispatching of your order. 

Payments

We accept all major credit and debit cards and payments through paypal.

Payment Checks

All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuing institution refuses to authorize payment to us we will not dispatch the goods and will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of orders. The payments are made on the website safely through the PayPal platform. You can still purchase through PayPal with your card without having a PayPal account.

Responsibilities of the Customer

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all information given on your order form is complete and accurate. Where information given by the customer is incomplete, misleading or incorrect the customer will be liable for any costs involved in resolving the matter. The Customer is not permitted to copy, reproduce, publish or use in any manner any item / content on the Website.

Shipping

Each item is sent with a tracked and signed for service, you will receive an email notification of your order confirmation as well as tracking information and a despatch email once your item is on its way to you.

International Shipping

International packages may require local taxes or custom fees which are to be paid for by the customer themselves. Cross-border shipments are also subject to opening and inspection if needed by customs authorities.

Standard Shipping Estimates

  • UK                               1-3 days for delivery once posted.

  • Europe                        5-10 days for delivery once posted.

  • Rest of the world        7-14 days for delivery once posted.

Caring for your garment

We recommend all items to be washed at 30 degrees, hand dried and steam ironed. Please do not bleach or tumble dry your piece.

Returns

Thank you so much for supporting us, we hope that you will love each piece that you purchase. As all our pieces are handmade to order, unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds. To help reduce waste, each item is totally made to order just for you.

Please visit the sizing guide page to make sure you match yourself to your correct size or you can leave your own measurements in the notes when you checkout.

FREE Lifetime Repairs

Our clothes are designed and made to last but they’re not indestructible.

If they’re looked after there is no reason why they shouldn’t stay beautiful, for years and years. Normal wear-and-tear does happen with this in mind, and as part of our commitment to sustainability, we will repair damage from normal wear-and-tear for FREE – all you pay is postage to us and back.

Wear-and-tear includes:

  • Loose seams.

  • Loose hems.

  • Loose buttons.

  • Unstitched pockets.

It does not include:

  • Damage beyond everyday wear-and-tear e.g. stains, cuts, and burns.

  • Damage caused by not following washing instructions.

  • Rips to the fabric itself (not the seams) 

If you would like to claim your repair, please get in touch with us by email hello@winifredj.com  photos will help if possible. If we think the damage is not covered by this policy we’ll explain why within 72 hours.

If it is suitable for free repair, please send the item to us by tracked delivery. Please pack it in a way that will protect it from further damage.

Please give us two weeks from receipt to repair the item. We will send back the repaired item to you by tracked delivery (you will have to cover delivery charge).
